CELLULAR CONSCIOUSNESS: AN INVITATION TO EXPLORE

PART 1

Life begins and ends in the cell

Our cells a microcosm of our individual self

Each cell an aspect of our self,

Of our unconscious and conscious behaviour

The cellular harmony arises from each cell flowing between receptivity and expression,

Giving and receiving,

Listening and speaking

According to its own nature and its relationship to the cellular matrix.

Cellular breathing, one of our earliest patterns underpinning all other patterns

Our earliest pattern of breath before the nervous system’s ‘knowing’ took charge

Through cellular breathing we may experience life force breathing us

Moving us

Flowing through us

We return to the the breath of life

The moment that life was breathed into the very first cell

Our moment of incarnation

An expression of all that we are and all that we may become

In Craniosacral Therapy we often work with this first perfect cell

So translucent that light shines through it

No shadow, no defences

In perfect harmony and balance

A pure expression of life itself

As a therapist we hold this in our awareness and in our hands

Witnessing the cell waking up to this memory of its perfection and its connection to source.

Before life’s experiences became woven into the blueprint

Before the nervous system wound its tentacles through this matrix and became its master

To transition from nervous system consciousness to cellular consciousness is to shift to a new perspective

We let go of what we think we know, however brilliant and hard won

And return to universal wisdom

The wisdom of the cells that need no learning

That take their wisdom from source

Our nervous system holds trauma,

Provides us with patterns of protection and defences in response to our experiences.

Change and transformation may happen when we let go of this nervous system ‘knowing’ and its recorded patterns of information

And enter freshly into this present moment experience through cellular awareness and cellular breath

PART 2

There is a ground fluid in all the cells, the ground of our being,

Our source and our essence

In the cell I have arrived

I am home

In here

Out there

My inner world

The outer world

Flowing between the two

Transitioning effortlessly

Helping us find balance, buoyancy and resilience

The Cell membrane , a veil.

A veil between this inner and outer world,

Between conscious and unconscious

The duality of existence and perception

Every cell wall

A prison

Or a portal

How do we see beyond the veil, move beyond the veil

How do we hold this duality

Live as if there was no separation

Transition effortlessly between spirit and human

Our cellular consciousness can be our guide

With cellular awareness and cellular breath as our guide

We transition through the semi-permeable cell membrane

Cellular fluids flowing in and out of each cell.

The transitional fluid, a vehicle for change

The bridge between the fluid going into the cell and out of the cell.

Flowing in both directions;

Flowing effortlessly from being to doing, the yin and yang, living and dying

Home to presence.

Living and dying a continuum.

They must walk hand in hand.

It is not one then the other.

The nervous system has already decided how to move,

What to move towards and what to move away from

When we settle into the cellular awareness we settle into the parasympathaetic nervous system

Through the fluids we can transition and expand into the sympathetic

Between the sympathetic and parasympathetic

Flowing freely between the two without freezing or getting stuck in one motion or another

Allowing movement to be initiated from the cellular breath,

From the internal cellular fluid, allows for intuitive, creative new ways of being and moving

Giving us resilience not overwhelm

Moving us at our own internal rhythm

At the rhythm of nature and indeed our true nature ( perhaps one and the same)

Not the forced rhythm of our nervous systems that has been been programmed by our experience

Going deep into the cells is like disappearing into the void of the cosmos and resting in it

From here we can listen and feel and receive the wisdom of the universal mind,

The wisdom of our bodies

We can absorb, process digest and receive this wisdom

We yield and surrender into the cell and flow with the cellular fluids

Drop beneath all pattens to that single prefect translucent un-patterned cell

That is directly connected to source

That holds the perfect blueprint

The matrix of our constellation

That re-members

We are all part of a beautiful intricate and mysterious web that connects our cells to each other, to nature, the stars and all of life

Are we brave enough to journey there and trust what we may find..

END NOTE:

Our womb space mirrors this watery fluid filled existence

Amniotic fluid is our cellular fluid

Indeed it becomes enfolded into our CFS and remains in our spinal chord

Patterns set up in the womb may become imprinted in our cellular memory

We can explore and re-pattern these imprints

A MOVING exploration of birth, death and rebirth

More on this another time!
